    Jig, Get one. You'll like it. I have several and have been using them for years. They have an ingenious knot design that adjusts very well and won't slip. Either one will work on your rifle, but if you are concerned with minimizing the weight on your shoulder, I think the inch & one quarter...

    I doubt parallax will be an issue for you- especially hunting. Here's a 3 shot group at 100 meters with parallax fixed at 300. These are great scopes. If you don't believe me, believe psinclair (enabler though he is....grin)!

    Nope...those are older ring marks. I moved it forward a tad after about a year of shooting it primarily out of a prone position.
