Seems like most folks like the Thunderbeast although I don't have one to comment on. Personally going with AAC Cyclone due to price and performance. All of which is still in the works. Sorry not more help!

Zeiss was my first reaction. Find a model that fits; maybe 50mm objective for best light transmission. My 4.5-14 50mm Conquest is great.
