I would be cautious using target bullets (which I understand have a thicker jacket leading to less expansion). I recently hunted antelope in Wyoming. I shot a 260 Rem with Berger 130gn HVLDs at 2780fps. This load has been devastating on whitetail but put something close to straight holes in 3...- rexcrush
