Sidearms & Scatterguns My first pistol: Glock 35

Re: My first pistol: Glock 35 G35 is a nice glove compartment and nightstand pistol. It is capable of superb performance in USPSA and IDPA matches. Look up Sevigny and Vogel on Youtube. Match ammo for USPSA would be something from Walmart in 180 grain. If you want better, call Atlanta Arms...

Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P Compact Story and Questions

Re: M&P Compact Story and Questions 9mm M&Ps are notorious for FTE. Extractor is a POS. And a PITA to replace. There are aftermarket extractors which solve the problem that S&W seems unable to do.

Suppressors Glock 17 vs. Glock 34

Re: Glock 17 vs. Glock 34 The best trigger kits are from Charlie Vanek. Or you can buy a 3.5 connector and some reduced power springs and do some polishing and have almost the same thing.

Suppressors how important is capacity in a handgun to you?

Re: how important is capacity in a handgun to you? Nothing wrong with lots of ammo. One who carries a high capacity firearm is not necessarily a lousy shot. And one who carries a five or six rounder is not necessarily a cool, collected gunfighter.

Re: Down to two--Glock 21 or M&P 45 M&Ps are not built to be worked on by their owners. Glock can be taken down to the nub and parts replaced easily. M&Ps in 9MM have documented failure to extract problems. Don't know about 45s. If you get the Glock 21SF, get the one with the Glock rail...

    Suppressors on duty side arm

Re: on duty side arm A glock fired properly and at speed also has "two trigger pulls." After firing, the reset occurs very quickly during the trigger's return. If immediate multiple shots are required, there is no reason to permit the trigger to return to the position of the first shot. This...

Maggie’s how fast can you change a mag?

Re: how fast can you change a mag? The skills involved in practical pistol shooting are exactly the same skills required in a gunfight. The tactics are not. The US military sends the units and people most likely to use a pistol in combat to schools and courses that are taught by USPSA...
