    New Frontier GTG?

Welp, I went with the JL. It comes with the ambi already installed and by the time I buy one and add it to the NFA, the cost diff isn't that much. Then again, I'll probably end up with a G4 anyway ;)

    New Frontier GTG?

Hey all, Instead of further polluting the billet thread, I just thought I start my own. Are the New Frontier Armory G4 lowers good to go? Also looking at JL Billet, but not sure if they’re worth the premium.

2024 Updated List on Billet Receiver Set Manufacturers

Anywho, Here's my shortlist of contenders... San Tan New Frontier (from what I understand they make a LOT for other sellers) Mega/Zev ADM UIC (I'd be looking at a blem model) Seekins (their styling looks a little dated to me though) Andro (which look a LOT like San Tan) CMT Silencerco In the...

2024 Updated List on Billet Receiver Set Manufacturers

Thanks Wes. I was hoping you'd chime in. Any experience with CMT, New Frontier, or ADM? I know Seekins has a great rep, but their styling isn't really my thing. I def want something 7075 and anodized. I like the threaded bolt catch and takedown holes as well.

2024 Updated List on Billet Receiver Set Manufacturers

Great list. I'm looking for a billet lower that's not $$$ to go with my Lantac straight-pull upper. I do like that some (if not most) of them have the threaded bolt catch and detent pin holes. Anyone know for sure which ones DO? I'm looking hard at Seekins, San Tan, and Spartan. Any to avoid?

    AS for Xeno muzzle device?

Hey all, So I finally got my Xeno brake in the mail. Now, with regular muzzle devices/flash hiders, I always put a little aeroshell on the threads. DA's instructions don't mention that, in fact they say if you want to use rocksett etc you can. So, should I completely bypass the aeroshell and...

    Straight pull AR

I always thought the Lantac raven system was cool. I've actually been thinking of building a straight pull SBR in .300BO using a Lantac upper/BCG. I would think especially for multiple targets, using your dominant/trigger hand for charging would be faster since your left/non-dominant hand...

    Xeno compatible brakes?

Hey all, So I'm going with a Xeno setup for my first centerfire can. I already have DA Xeno FHs on my SBRs. I'm looking for some brakes to put on my bolt guns. I like the DA brake for the lack of a need for timing etc. That being said, it doesn't seem to be that functional as an actual...

Suppressors First (possibly only) centerfire suppressor?

Got sidetracked with ....well....life. Anyway, now that Black Friday sales are upon us, the search continues. Got a 40% Rex coupon which puts a Mod X at $689...$989 after tax and FFL fees. Rugged Surge is $950 with free stamp (no FFL fee since my local is a SS partner). Diligent Enticer L...
