For what it’s worth, I picked up a $15 generic Arca rail section off Amazon (the ones with a large continuous slot through the center) and just picked up some fasteners at Ace that fit the pre-drilled holes on the MRAD chassis. Little removable LocTite on the screw threads and it’s been solid.
Hey guys, Looking to make the jump into a multi-caliber rifle finally and hoping to feel out those that have hands-on with both the MRAD and AXMC \ AXSR that can weigh in on the strengths and weaknesses. Am I missing any other multicaliber rifles other than Desert Tech? Application is solely...
They have a long history of questionable reliability, horror stories and issues. Their newest scopes (can't recall the product line name) is made in Japan and is allegedly better, but there's no reason to roll the dice with a company that has such a sordid history. YMMV.
Honest Question: you do a better job of repping Burris, supporting their product and communicating with customers than their actual service department; why haven’t they hired you to unfuck their situation?
Yes, Burris has a comprehensive “No Questions Asked” warranty. ....and by that, they mean that you send the scope back to them, they sit on it for 3-6 weeks, don’t contact you, and then return the scope back to you saying they didn’t find anything wrong with it...without asking you any...

I quite like the Arisaka Defense offset red dot mount; it has a reversible stem that you can adjust between 35 and 45 angle, and they also have a 1.93 height option as well. Plates for nearly every RDS out there, too.
I’ve struggled with this for years. It seems like Burris has a few guys in the product management and engineering department that are clearly very smart and capable of coming out with features and tweaks that are unique and desirable. Yet time and time again they seem to be hampered by what I...
The Monstrum is a direct copy of the Vortex Defenders, though for what it’s worth, my Monstrum covers don’t slip like my Defenders did. Plus the Monstrum come in Tan.
I have that exact mount and took it off because it had issues. Don’t buy a vertically split mount, especially with heavy 34mm precision-oriented scopes.
Zev acquired Mega and did away with the name. I have a Zev (same as Mega, just different styling) stripped MaTen upper if you want it. Also have a matching Zev / Mega Wedge (Mlok) rail and 16” barrel, all new and I assembled. They sent me this as part of a warranty replacement for my MaTen upper.
