    Re: SCAR vs FNAR The FNAR is basically a semi-auto hunting rifle. The SCAR is a combat rifle. The SCAR is designed to be cleaned in the field (like the AR). The FNAR isn't.

    Re: .308 Purchase - would like opinions In my mind, the main advantage of the DTA is the length, not the ability to switch calibers. I hunt a buddy's place where we drive around a lot and it's nice to have the short gun for getting in and out of the truck.

    Re: DI VS Piston system I think that the pof piston system is great. Super simple and it plain works. Again and again. And it obviously doesn't affect accuracy. The prob w the pof and the gap is the rail system in my opinion.

    Re: .308 Purchase - would like opinions I will say this though- I smile every time I get behind the DTA. If you go that route, have APA do the conversion barrel for you with the barrel of your choice. It will be worth the small wait over the "production" conversions from DTA.
