I have been using my DTA for the same reasons, picked up some extras and like the ability to change calibres.

Thanks, been the lucky owner for over 10 years. A very accurate rifle with 250 gr Scenars and Lockbase. Still on the original barrel and @ 1000 meters groups not much bigger than an A4 sheet of paper.

Rifle Scopes DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescopes

wooferocau said: The only Kahles i still have is the older 624i ... its fairly good at lower light levels, but still degrades. To be truthful ALL my S&B,s other than the 6-36 don't fair well in low light either. My TT 5-25 is excellent....and the new 7-35 even better.. Maybe you can publish...

    L42A1 & Enforcer reloading

From Memory as tested with Lab Radar it ran roughly 2730 with very low Standard Deviation at 11. I set up a Lee Classic to drop 2208 / 4064 to 42.5 grains over using my RCBS Charge Master. Cases were American Eagle (Lake City) 7.62 new brass. I will find the photo I took at the range whilst...

    L42A1 & Enforcer reloading

I just checked in this morning will post a photo of the L42A1 replica shortly, the load i use is mild at 42.5 grains of 4064 with the 155 Sierra. I dont like running heavy loads on any rear locking Enfield action. I figure the 155 is close to the original Radway Green load of 144 grains if my...

Arken EP5 7- 35 .. Standing in for some Alpha Glass

So you own both the 3-27 and the ultrashort despite their shortcomings?

    Arken SH4 6-24x50 (Yes, I'm going there)

And the 22 /223 i had in mind wasnt a PRS or NRL rifle, just a stock T1x or T3x Varmint

    Arken SH4 6-24x50 (Yes, I'm going there)

Sure, because i have no time behind the scope other than mounting and bore sighting. Once i find the time to put some rounds downrange that position may change. My eyes dont do any scope justice any more, i read a reply on another thread that wasnt complimentary at all about the SHV 6-24. I...

    Arken SH4 6-24x50 (Yes, I'm going there)

i picked one up recently, not the Japanese glass but for the money i am impressed. Brought it for a 22 or 223 not for anything more serious. Optics have certainly come a long way in the last 10 years, is it at the same level as my 5.5-22 Nightforce or 4-16 S&B PM2? But even with chinese glass...

Arken EP5 7- 35 .. Standing in for some Alpha Glass

The Arken series of scope represent good value for money in my opinion. There is however an overwhelming amount of evidence as to why the various military units stick with proven glass. Schmidt and Bender, Nightforce and Leupold all have skin in the game, if i absolutely needed to depend on a...

    L42A1 & Enforcer reloading

If you reload for an L42a1 can i suggest looking at 4064? I have a replica fitted with dimensionally similar Sportco produced barrel and a Mark 3 scope. The previous owner tried Win748 and 4064 / 2208, with a 155 grain Sierra Palma i regularly see sub 1 inch groups at 100 meters. Incidentally...
