Re: PacNor barrel quality? They can be very accurate. I have two 308 barrel form Pac-nor. One, a 3 grove 12 twist on my 308 and another Polygonal on my 300 Win Mag. Both shoot really well.

Re: Need help on .338 Lapua 300 grain loads Use Retumbo if you want to shoot the 300. Excellent velocity and not sensitive to temperature change. I use 95 grains with 300 SMK in my 338 Lapua AI. Velocity is around 2850 fps from a 30" 9.3 twist Broughton. 25 shot group @ 1K
Re: Case neck runout problems With my 6.5-47 Lapua, If I full length size the brass using the Forster Benchrest die, I'm getting run-out as high as .005" on my loaded round. If I just neck sized the brass using Wilson die, my run-out dropped to within .001"...

Re: Annealing concerns ....... I've used the same exact procedure, using the same set up like yours for quite sometimes now, with no problem. Just be consistent and you'll be fine.
