The AR was originally intended to be chambered in the .222 Mag. For reasons unknown to me (perhaps tooling had already been purchased that would have been expensive to replace?) the magazine and BCG were not lengthened to the necessary length and so we wound up with the 5.56 NATO. Gunsmithing Anschutz trigger for my F-Class rifle?
I have a matching pair of Rem 700 SAs I had machined to accept bolt up Anschutz triggers quite a few years ago. Once converted there is no going back. While I have no regrets about doing it at the time I would not do it again because there are so many superb drop in Rem pattern triggers...- Ronin_1

Has anyone else noticed that many of the groups posted on YouTube exhibit vertical stringing or else are double grouping (3 and 2) even though the overall group for the 3 & 2 groups is OK. New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge
The major problem with the Grendel was that it was kept as a proprietary cartridge initially and the cost of ammo was prohibitive in DoD quantities. There were other issues, but that was the biggest. Thereafter the Grendel was market for multiple civilian roles.- Ronin_1
