    No issues with the action mating with the JAE-700. I used a Timney 510U which required me to shave .2" off the inside of the stock to facilitate proper engagement of the safety. I'll try to post some pics later this week if you need them.

    I picked up the stock unused from an acquaintance that decided to go the semi-auto route over a bolt action build. Sometimes you just get lucky. That said, Lisa and Jeff from JAE were great with advice and pointers in locating parts and with instructions for disassembly prior to the hydrodip.

    Building my first "high-end" action precision rifle after lurking the forums for years. I went with a Defiance Deviant, JAE-700, 24" threaded Bartlein M24, Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP, and Atlas Bipod. Looking forward to getting it all put together when the barrel gets back from Kampfeld...
