Re: 6.8 spc ammo in a 5.56 Magazine The reason I asked was (now dont laugh) my Wife bought me 2 30 round 5.56 mags for Christmas and I wanted to ask before I pulled them out of the package.

I know this is a stupid question but i have to ask. Does anyone know if 6.8 spc will fit in a 5.56 magazine? I have been told that it will but I would think it would hold less rounds and might have some feed issues. Do any of you have any experience with this?

This gun is sweet the only draw back is that it is a single shot. I plan on using this gun for hunting so more than one round would be nice to have. A little background about the gun. It is a winchester model 70 300 WM with a Shilen barrel and it is placed in a Mcmillan stock. My question is...

Just got a Stag Arms Model 7 hunter 6.8 spc and was going to put my old Swarovski 2.5x10X56 scope on there but my buddy is telling me that is too much scope for that gun. I didnt know you could have too much scope for a gun... My question is what should i put on there then? Thanks for your input
