    I have a 7mm-08 with a 20 inch barrel and im shooting 139 sst's at 2840 fps out to 700 yards with great results. I just started doing load develompent with the 154 sst's and it's looking promising, i haven't chrono'd them yet.

    Hey Guys, R700 w/ 20" barrel 139SST 44.0 gr IMR 4064 FED210 primer OAL 2.780" Velocity: 2840 FPS Im using this bullet just because my local shop had alot of them and they are deadly on game. 90% of my shooting is between 600 and 700 yds and that 139sst gets blown around quite a bit...

    Gunsmithing Getting a new barrel, should i have the action trued?

    that's what i was thinking was why not just do it to make the gun as accurate as possible. With my other Remington 700 i can print 1/3 MOA groups at a hundred and half MOA groups at 375 so I'm confident that it's the gun and not me.

    Re: upgrade b&c m40 to mcmillan ? I had the same dilema, i ended up going with the bell and carlson. The aluminum block holds the action just great my best groups with my M700 are .3 of an inch. For now I just load the rounds into the internal box magazine and it works fine for what im doing...

    Re: match 7mm-08 hey GFunkUK what kind of velocities do you think i could get out of a 22 inch barrel with the 44.7 grains of n550? I cant wait to build this gun up. Its going to knock the pants off of my 308 that shoots 178 Amax's.
