my new CBI barrel seems to love the 185 Jugg. Seems whatever I feed it and however I want to seat the bullets it shoots them excellent

your 5 thous off is actually a lot better than your 40 thous load is. Those don't even look close to me. Target 1 shot about the height of the orange sticker in vertical. The big jump load shot a lot more vertical. So to me that clearly shows the 5 jump is better LR potential. You want least...

Sounds good to start. Only thing that might be hindering you is the low power fixed scope. And like you said the 168s should be ok up to 600(even better I would assume at 300 vs 600)

This is with Alliant Power Pro 2000 MR powder. It gives more velocity at the same pressure levels as other powders. This range seems fairly common in the 175-190 weight bullets in 308 win and 30" barrels

Diego did you ever find the load with this? Looks like you may have ended up around 47.7?
