Yeah it's a LaRue SPR 1.5 mount. The scope is a Leupold Mk4 1.5-5 which does a great job. I took that pic for one of those "If you could only have one do all AR" threads. That's why the Aimpoint is in the pic. I could swap out magnification for the RDS very easily if needed.

You appear to have a N4 Lo-Pro in the top pic. These are offered in a variety of barrel lengths. The bottom pic appears to be a 14.5" Afghan with the Vltor VIS monolithic upper. Both are damn fine weapons in anybody's book. Here's my Afghan.

I've found that 43.3grs of IMR 4064 with the 168gr SMKs is a great load. A little on the hot side but no pressure signs in my LMT MWS 18" stainless.

I have an LMT two stage that comes real close to a Geissele SSA-E. As others have said, LMT is a excellent two stage but, it is not a Geissele.

If you have a 14.5" chrome lined N4 Noveske it is not a Afghan. It may be a N4 Lo-Pro with a MUR receiver and SWS Noveske marked handguard that mimics an Afghan but, it is not a true Afghan. Afghans were only offered with stainless steel barrels. Regardless, I wouldn't make that trade.

Not sure you're going to get many takers with that kind of offer. Just the rear sight sells for more than that.

This is it exactly. I've never seen where LMT has published that an MWS is sub-MOA or even MOA. All I have ever heard is 1.5 MOA is the manufacturers standard for the LMT. I can live with that. Why is it that some people are expecting it to do more? Not that it can't. Mine can with 168gr...

Blowback has never been a problem with my non-switchblock Afghan shooting suppressed. If you are looking for as much accuracy as possible you're more likely to get that with a stainless barrel. Not that chrome lined barrels can't shoot well. I have a 16" CL Daniel Defense that shoots very well.

I was in their storefront today. Pretty crowded and never talked to anyone about them but, looked over the racks really good and didn't see a .308 semi at all.

Any of the Aimpoints will serve you well. The Pro is a great value. Mounts: LaRue, American Defense or Bobro will work very well.
