    Tikka Tactical factory Picatinny rail

The factory rail on my T3 had blue locktite on the screws and the rail itself is bonded to the action with something, when I discovered that I gave up and just used the rail. Most people I have heard about removing them did need to apply heat to soften it all up.

    Show your custom Tikkas!

About time I contribute something here I guess. Here is my Tikka T3 Super Varmint in .223 with a 1:8 twist 20'' barrel. I just got the KRG X-ray for it in the mail, it also has the bolt handle already discussed in this thread from cannoncrossfire along with the bolt shroud he does.

Your suggestions for rifle for novice female shooter

My first centrefire was a Tikka T3 super varmint in .223 with the 1:8 twist though mine came with a threaded 20" barrel from the factory. It loves 75gn A-Max projectiles and I'll be doing some load development with 80gn VLDs and SMKs soon. I'm over in Australia so I know what's available is a...

Furious over my Tikka T3 !!!

That sucks, the screws on the rail with my T3 Super varmint were not difficult to remove, the pins that also hold the rail were a different story mind you. When I took the screws out there was what looked like blue Loctite on the bottom of the screws but that shouldn't be so hard to remove that...

    Don't know what to get!!

I have a T3 Super varmint in .223 with the 1 in 8 twist and I love it. Mine also came with a threaded 20" barrel from the factory so it's a pretty handy little package. I'm waiting to get my hands on a KRG x ray for it now. Since I'm getting a new stock I think my money would have been better...

    Vortex Bubble Scope level

I have one on my Vortex PST sitting in Leupold PRW medium rings. There is plenty of clearance between the bottom of the level and the rail but I did have to take the scope off to mount it.

Rifle Scopes Help me pick a scope for my .223 bolt gun.

They have different reticle options and the PST has the option of FFP where as the HS and HS-T are only SFP. The HS has a capped windage turret and the HS-T has an uncapped turret like the PST. I have a 4-16 Viper PST on my .223 and I think it has been great value for money.
