Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I hope I'm not jumping to conclusions but "$80 vs $2000 scope", "accurized saiga/no puny 223s", and "308 more accurate than 30-06?" threads all in the same day by the same guy... U trollin bro?
Is it specifically 7.62x39 you're after or just something bigger than 223? If you're willing to spend money working on the AK perhaps just step up to a 308 where you would have many options (FAL, HK91, M1a, AR) and real accuracy potential. No matter how much you "accurize" an AK and no matter...
The whole appeal of an AK is a cheap gun with loose/durable tolerances that shoots crappy ammo. You could tighten up the tolerances with new parts and shoot premium ammo. But then... Why bother?
Weren't the SIG SSGs around $1500? I would check those out along with the SPR. If you want an aftermarket chassis then a Tikka and swap out the factory stock... Which is crap but the rest of the rifle is beautiful.
Just skimmed the thread, very sad, but needs maximum exposure. I went through a similar ordeal years ago on a custom blade. After 2 years I got an obvious harbor freight grinder job in an old shoebox. I can't imagine how $4,000+ feels. Lets keep him visible regardless of which "industry" he...
I nervously cycle snap caps through the action in my lap while doing excruciatingly boring computer work. It makes me feel like I'm outside or something. But man I'm quick with a bolt now.
Kind of seems like 2 different questions. Tikka is the best action out of the box, Savage can be pretty rough out of the box but great for DIY projects with its barrel system and aftermarket. I don't have much experience with Weatherby/Howa.
The CZs are a big step up from generic $100 beater 22s without going overkill and plinking at a camp ground with an Anschutz. Perfect middle ground IMO.
This one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5pVya7eask Regardless of what's flexing the distance between the scope and other components is definitely fluctuating which means a little distance is a good idea.
