I shoot an AR 15 in NRA High Power and most of the people I see at the matches are using RL 15 with the 77 and 80 grain bullets. That's what I have been using for a long time and really like it.

I just got my ESS chassis last week and had ordered MDT 34mm rings at the same time but my dealer said MDT called and told him one of their machines was down until later this fall that they use to make their rings. You might want to check on estimated time of delivery if you need them anytime soon.

I'm using a Bartlein 7.7 twist in my XTC ar, shooting 77's at 200 and 300, 80's at 600 and it's great. I would definitely look for another when this one is done. I think you'll be real happy with one.
