For those with questions regarding the harvester, yes the harvester is rated up to 24" win mag. Jonathon(owner of Silencerco) and I have been shooting them in comps for the last year. Jon has 3000ish rounds of SAUM through his. No signs of wear, and you guys know that shooting comps is not an...
Any of the things you brought up would work out great. If you go the 300BLk route the barns 110gr are awesome on deer and hogs. Super light recoil and you could have your boys shoot sub sonic stuff to start out and get their feet wet. I would recommend a noveske upper. Super light and low...
The 7.62 Saker and Specwar are both full auto and SBR rated. They both have Stellite baffles. The saker is a modular can with swappable mounting systems and front caps. The harvester is in a totally different class. It still has a full welded 17-4 stainless core but is not full auto rated. It...
The saker 7.62 is rated to 300RUM and any of the like calibers. The saker 7.62 weighs the same as the SDN-6. The modularity of this can is awesome. When you put a 5.56 front cap on the saker 7.62 we have had it meter 131.5 with XM855!!!
sorry it has taken so long! The octane is not rated for 300blk supers. It will handle it for a while but will cause fatigue on the tube. I would not recommend people to use any non welded core for the supers. If the core is not welded all of the baffles are pushed forward by the muzzle blast and...
The octane will be totally fine. I wouldn't do mag dumps on an SBR. It will handle it but cause accelerated erosion. That being said, we have an awesome warranty and wouldn't turn you away.
This is one of the main reasons behind the Silencerco harvester design. It is a direct thread can with interchangeable back caps. So you can have a back cap for both of your different thread pitches.
We have done extensive testing using force meters. There is no difference between brake inside of can versus flash hider inside of can, in either peak impulse or impulse duration.
Correct, harvester will handle all of that. The blast baffle will be fine. We are the people who do mag dumps for testing. Yes the different back caps are for different thread pitches to make it so you are able to switch guns.
The harvester is an awesome precision rifle can. It was developed because we shoot in the PRS and wanted the best can for that style of shooting. It I super light 11 oz. The muzzle brake is super effective. And the 17-4 baffles are strong, no need to worry. We have beat the crap out of them and...
I shot the specwar 7.62 for almost a year in PRS matches before we came out with the harvester. It is by far the quietest / most durable can out there. Every stage I shot the RO's asked what can it was because it was so quiet. The great part about the stellite baffles is that after the whole...
This is not a plug for our 51T mount at all, nor was this set out to be an argument. I am legitimately wondering why everyone thinks direct thread cans are more accurate. As far as our mounts are concerned they are not. You actually will get just as reliable repeatable mounting with our QD...
