Hawkins M5 with long latch?

I know. I didn’t really think to take a picture before I popped them because they were fairly unremarkable. I’m bumping the shoulder .002”. Bolt falls on the case with the firing pin and extractor removed.

So I've noticed quite a few of my pieces of brass are showing these markings. The swipe is from the ejector cut in the CDG bolt face and I don't know what is causing the other mark next the the P in the picture below. Possibly the extractor? It has happened to both my Hornady and Alpha brass...

Those of you who have sent your Gen III back to Vortex and had the elevation turret lock removed, is the turret in the normally locked or unlocked position?
