    Where to source different bullet seating stems?

    You can apply a small amount of JB weld (or similar) inside the cleaned seater stem and gently insert a bullet by hand to make a perfect fit. Cheap and works great.

    Being a cheap bastard, I bought a $6.99 amazon rechargeable "stroller fan" that I set up on the next bench and it blows air thru my suppressors and out the end of the barrel. It cost almost nothing and I can cool two rifles down at a time.

    Now you're talking new boltface/etc. All I would need is a new 416x50bmg barrel for my AR50 and get bushing 50bmg dies and I'd be good to go, right.? Does no one shoot a 416x50bmg? I would think going from a 750amax at 2800 to a 41cal 500amax would be in the low 3000s - a good place to be IMO...

    I've got plenty of AA8700 and WC872 for the 50bmg. Fifty brass isn't expensive (comparatively), I was just thinking a necked down 50bmg case would be fun in another barrel for my AR50. What do you think the .416 500gr Amax would do, 3300fps?

    if you have a wife and kids, you want to be efficient with your time. Buy two presses and have your Sizer in one and your seater die in the other. Grab a piece of brass and size it while your powder thrower is throwing the powder charge. Once it's sized and primed, your powder charge is ready...

    You can use Burris XTR Signature rings with the +/- inserts and get more cant than your rail's 20moa, and they won't scratch your scope.

    Best of both worlds - 7mm Rem Mag. Great ballistics and great availability and less recoil than the big 30s.
