    Lightest Tikka chassis?

    The new MPA hybrid is 3lb without recoil pad. The MDT LSS-XL will take their own magazine for long action, it's also light at sub 2 lbs without butstock. I think you can get lighter with a more traditional stock style with Manners carbon fiber or German gun stock.

    KRG Bravo for CTR that can take TRG/CTR mags?

    Thanks for the info. I guess not having handled them it didn't seem like it was that much lighter (just sub 3 lb) compared to the Manners in carbon, but I guess the chassis adds 6 oz or so which adds to the difference. Glad to know you like it though. I'll keep it on the list.

    How do you like the German Gun Stock. I like the look of the new Ranger. Price wise though I could get a full carbon Manners or McMillan. Is the GGS as rigid as the others? Oban, Talisker, Kilchoman (Machir Bay), Laphroig (quarter cask), Lagavulin 16, Tamdhu, Glenmorangie (Nectar D'or), Balvenie (double wood, Caribbean), Ardbeg. Personnaly I feel $60-80 is often the sweet spot for really good scotch. Sure a few more years...
