Spife I appreciate your help Primers are fine, it’s a moderate 223 load I’ve used for a while. Surgeon single shot action The sequence was 1) stupidly ran bolt on chambered round that was loaded long ie into the lands, dumped powder 2) cleaned out all powder, took barrel off to clean, took out...

    Destroyed Jewel triggers

I've broken 2 triggers (in exactly the same way) in two shots fired from this rifle. Any idea what could be causing that? I'm afraid to put in a third, might break it as well

    Destroyed Jewel triggers

I don't know what its called, there are two of them that each wrap 1/2 around one of the large pins that is visible between the side plates. there is a notch in the side of the part. I don't understand the connection between dumping powder in the chamber and having parts of two separate...

The Venerable 308 vs "New gen" ubiquitous 6.5 Creedmoor LR - ELR Shootout

I think the reason you don't see creeds holding records at f class 1000 is that 308 and 223 have their own division in FTR, but if you're going to shoot F-O there are much better projectile options than a 264 / 6.5

    .223 AI Donuts

The cause is just normal forward brass flow over time as the cases are fired. I also have donuts on 223 Rem brass, I used the Wilson reamer to cut out a surprising amount of material from inside the base of the neck. It can really be seen with a borescope. I also use a mandrel but it was not...

Reloading Equipment Various 224 and 204 Projectiles for Sale

The rules used to be that you don't come into other people's sale threads and shit on what they are selling. I like Game Kings also but never had any failures from the Blitzs.
