    There's a thread on here somewhere where a guy got a plastic washer and trimmed it to the right height, then put it under the turret on his SIII and it worked as a shim zero stop system.

    The consensus is that the Sightron has better glass, but you don't get the illumination or zero stop that the Vortex offers. I've been trying to decide between the two and it just comes down to what's more important to you.

    I wish Sightron would get it together and offer the SIIISS 6-24X50 LRFFPMH with illumination. I'm trying to decide between that scope and the Vortex Viper PST 6-24X FFP MILRAD. They recently released an illuminated scope in MOA only....:confused:
