Laird Hamilton's Coffee - Rocket Fuel

I got to thinking on this and I'm almost positive that the caffeine content is 570mg per ounce of whole beans. That would make a lot more sense, as I'm sure the makers don't want to kill off all of their customers. BTW, did you ever get an email back?

Gunsmithing Wanting to build a custom nail driver. Need help

Not to mention that the rifle is probably the least expensive part in the long run, after all, it's pretty much chambered in $5 bills. Oh, but I sure would love to have one.

Gunsmithing Can you Duracoat/Ceracoat anodized Aluminum?

I do a lot of Duracoating of 10/22 barrels that I sell, and I agree that the prep work is everything. When I first started using Duracoat, I didn't yet have a blast cabinet, so I would just make sure that the parts were spotless and free of contaminants. It took me about 3 times redoing the same...

Gunsmithing a little savage bolt knob shadetree gunsmithing

Great work! I've been doing quite a few bolt knobs for friends lately, every time someone sees one on one of my rifles, they want one. Savages are the best because you can easily take the bolt apart. I've recently done knob installs on a few Mosin Nagant "sniper" bolts, quite a few Savages, a...

    Gunsmithing muzzle thread

I would recommend the Troy Medieval muzzle brake. I rebuilt a friend's stainless Mod. 70 in 30-06, he was not happy at all with the accuracy before, said it only shot 4" groups at 100 yds. And this guy isnt a crappy shot either, he's actually an Apache pilot. I took one look and knew why the...

    Gunsmithing muzzle thread

I did my REM 700 7mm mag 5/8x24, worked out well, as is easy to find 30cal brakes in that threading. Now I just have to throw the new stainless barrel I got for it in the lathe and do it.

Gunsmithing Cost to rechamber a barrel?

IMHO, I would just sell the 300BLK barrel and buy a prefit 308 barrel. Wish I had a bit more coin, I would buy your 300BLK ina heartbeat (truck needs a new tranny as a 1st priority).

Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel?

Re: Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel? Thanks for the info, I think I'll stick with shooting and enjoying the rifle as it is.

Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel?

Re: Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel? Nope, just a barrel. I'm aware of the barrel swap process, I've built a few mausers. I'd love to find a finn barreled action or complete rifle for a decent price, all I've been able to find are a few barrels on ebay.

Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel?

Re: Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel? Just the barrel. I have a 1938 Tula 91/30 that I was thinking of upgrading. It's already been slightly "bubbaized" with an ATI bolt handle and scope mount by a previous owner, Wish it was all original, as it's matching #'s. It is import marked...

Fair price for a Finnish Valmet MN Barrel?

I'm wondering what a fair price for a Finnish Valmet Mosin Nagant barrel would be in great condition? I found a few on ebay, but the price seems kind of high. Wasn't sure if the price was worth it. Are they that much more accurate than the russian barrels? Thanks in advance for your help.

    buck mark 22LR

Re: buck mark 22LR I've owned both rugers and buckmarks. I currently own a Buckmark and love it. Super accurate and about as reliable as it gets. Plus the takedown system on the ruger is a PITA.
