Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

If you scroll back to post #1,211, Waorani kindly posted a picture and pdf file of machining for me. Both my SPR A3G and Win 70 long actions were machined for AICS

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

My SPR is still on the factory barrel, but if you pull up pictures of Win M70 308 Heavy Varmint it should be very similar profile though 26". I've dropped a Heavy Varmint barrled action in a A-3 take off and fit fine....

Looking for Precision Class In Tennessee

In the past ORSA in Oak Ridge has had medium range prone, long range, palma, XTC, F-Class, vintage military, CMP clinics, etc. I highly recommend Strategic Edge but's about 3 hours from you, and K&M is about 5 hours.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

very nice! I had a similar PBR (mine eventually ended up in a McMillan A3 takeoff stock) that shot really well. From what I have seen these are an excellent value.

    FBI Sniper Rifles

Very cool thread! I have a couple clip-slotted Winchesters (National Match XTC style, no FBI history), and scope mounting was a little more work. 70 Pre-war with clip slot has a special order rail from Badger. Win 70 Short actions have used one piece rails, with just one attachment used in...

well I'm not looking to sell my action, but I'm certainly ok sending you a box of stuff to be your development test mule for this AICS project. SPR action w/ 308 bolt face. McMillan A3-5 adj (or A5 adj) in hand, I just don't have a barrel today but I'm sure we could figure it out... Tim

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I have had no luck finding a left-over CDI bottom metal for FN/Win short action. Has anyone tried the PT&G "wide mouth" bottom metal using standard AICS magazines??

Optics US Optics FFP SN3 TPAL5-25x58 35mm tube, EREK knobs, mil/mil SPF

Very nice! I also would like to know the reticle? There is a picture in photo album but I don't recognize it (but then I'm not a USO expert either). From what I see though it's not the more common MIL-GAP or MPR, which I am familiar with ....
