Re: Muzzle Brake About 3 hours, give or take. Made it during my lunch breaks at work. Just for something to do really.

Gunsmithing Muzzle Brake

The bolt knob project turned out good, so I decided to make a muzzle brake as well. 304 Stainless,5/8-28 thread per Badger, basic hole pattern. I'm pretty happy with the results. I have no idea if the design with have the desired effect.

Re: Bolt Knob Made the knob on the manual at work from 7075. I didn't have a jig to turn to handle down, so I used the belt sander to rough it and finished it with a file. I was only making it for the one rifle I have so I didn't want to spend a whole lot of time making a jig. Finished it...

New bolt knob. Made and installed it myslef. Huge difference over the Rem factory knob when cycling. Now if I could just learn to shoot!
