Id have to check my book but IIRC load 175 smks with 58 grains 2209( very close to h4350) for 2850fps out of a 24" and same load high 2900s for the 28". i use it as its easy to get and not temp sensitive for hunting

Being here from in NZ, I would really suggest to do your homework on hardy barrels, If I wanted a carbon barrel Id wait for a proven proof thats for sure

A non computer savy mate has asked me to find out if the Sako TRG trigger group will fit a Barnard action, we know the Barnard Trigger will fit the Tikka T3, but unsure of the other way around, Hes throwing around ideas for the internal safety on the TRG on his rifle, I prefer the barnard...

just wondering you guys that use it, what is your process to neck up? do you have to trim, aneal, neck turning etc? or the dreaded donuts? Im looking to go to to .284 but can i just neck up and go shoot and get decent results? It will be for a longer range hunting and steel rifle
