Re: Nikon Buckmaster 6-18X40 with 1/8MOA? HELP??? I have that scope on a Rem 700 5R 308 until I get another NF. Great scope but I can't get to 1000 yds with mine and I load 155gr. SMK's I need 36 moa and only have 32 with a NF 20 moa base. I have had it for 4 or 5 years and it still tracks...

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR scopes

I haven't been able to find anyone here talking about these. Does anyone have one and how do they compare in glass and repeatability to other popular scopes ya'll have used. I hear the glass is really good, would be looking at 4-16 or 6-24x models. Are they worth looking at?

Re: need input on .260 twist rate Thanks, I'm pretty much a speed freak so I definitely want to stick with the lighter bullets and get a slower twist than what I have now.

    Rifle Scopes USO spotting scopes

need input on .260 twist rate

I was wondering what rate of twist would be best for 107 and 123gr. smk's wouldn't be shooting anything lighter and max would be 130gr. bergers. I have a .260 with a krieger 1:8.5 and it loves the 130gr. bergers but so far doesn't seem to like the 123's. Probably be getting a broughton barrel...
