I am not a reloader, but do have some dogs in this fight. Can a 6.5 diameter projectile work in a 25.06? I think the .243 and 6mm slugs are the same and there is no question there. I am a newbie at this, all comments appreciated Thanks, enjoy the fireworks.

Have a great shooting R700 25.06 in a stock that takes AI mags. Obviously the WM300 mag lips let the thinner casing pop thru. Thought caveman style and pounding down the mag lips or using a mag pliers but that may put the cartridge rim too low for the bolt face to slide forward. And ruin an...
