    Got my stock in today, it already has pillars bedded in it. I ordered it with the stealth DBM it came with bigger pillars. Do I need to drill out the smaller ones and put the ones that came with DBM.

    Should work fine. 8-72 tpi should work with your 16 tpi barrel. Just make sure the hole through the headstock is big enough. Unless u want to turn using a steady rest.

    What's the best way to fit a tac338 action to a stock that's fitted for a rem 700. Think it's like .050 larger in dia and .465 longer.
