New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
when trying to use the filters on bolt action rifles manufacturers, it doesnt seem to drop a menu down for manufacturers to select. seems like all the filter drop downs dont work!
The benefit I see to an rds on top of an optic is below:
1.target acquisition easier with RDS for beginner not great at locating targets prior to being on glass
2. Co-witnessed with wmlrf and optic, rds could be used as baseline for zero which allows shooter to not have to dial back to zero on...
😂 okay clearly I sound stupid but I thought it would be a good option for targets where you don’t know distance and you want rds for quicker target pickup. The plan is not to just overload the gun with shit that is useless. The only thing that is interesting is if you use the rds as zero for...
not to put away anyones opinions as i can totally understand why alot of people may not want an RDS and they are proficient with no assistance. To revise the goal of this thread:
To those who use an RDS for Target acquisition, what MOA size dot are you using and why?
To those who use an RDS for...
Hey guys,
Reposting this in comp thread as I hope it gets better traction!
Looking to get some feedback from the group running RMR/SRO/Aimpoint/etc on top of 20+ zoom scopes for target acquisition out to 900 yards. Is a more definitive small dot like a 1 moa RMR the way to go? Should an easier...
interesting. what would those issues be? i guess my thought would be more co aligning the RDS to your scope at 100 yards which is also co aligned to the impact. obviously its going to be less accurate at distance due to head movement causing slight dot shift but lets say out to 300-500 yards...
copy. i guess a goal/benefit with a smaller dot would be using in collaboration to the impact, you can range and get dope without having to dial back to zero because the rmr is your aiming point?... right?

I think it's just the feeling of trying to find the center point on the blade and then always a weird uneven feel. guess lack of aftermarket options is what i get for buying a savage lolol
Hi all,
As the post indicates, i am looking to see if anyone can confirm the elftman Savage 110 trigger will fit a Savage 10 FCP-SR.
If been looking for an aftermarket trigger for my savage and wanting something flat and light. something about the accutrigger and i just dont work well...
No kidding. Great post. ive seen older posts about the Garmin that i was concerned with something better being offered in the near future. this makes me feel much better about buying it now.
