    The "Switch Lug" manufactured by West Texas Ordnance looks too simple to be true. Hand tighten the barrel, torque the switch lug and go shoot. Advertised as no shift in POI. Might be something the OP would want to investigate.

    Thanks for starting this thread. I know there have been previous "LPVO" threads but it's always good to get expert opinions, especially as optics continue to evolve.

    Vortex Razor 1-6 vs 1-10

    Watching this discussion closely. I'm torn between the speed and lighter weight of an 1-6x SFP vs the precision and mostly higher weight of a FFP 1-8x/1-10x. It all boils down to use case which is a mix of hogs, coyotes and target with my 14.5" 6ARC gas gun.

    Very interested in this thread. I just disassembled a 20" 6mm ARC AR-15. The Bartlein medium heavy barrel was contoured by Precision Firearms with a rifle +1 gas system (.875 gas block) plus their side charging BCG and bolt. Seriously accurate but just too heavy for me. The Craddock RTR...

    223 Bolt Gun (current climate)

    I went down that .223 road a few years ago. Decided on the Tikka T3x Varmint and never looked back. I shoot Hornady 75 gr Match which turns out very nice groups. I'm just a recreational shooter and have successfully hit steel at 600yd. An accomplished shooter could do much better than that...
