    6.5x47 Lapua

I'm seating the 140s at 2.145" base-to-ogive, and that's about 20thou from the lands. I kinda stopped chasing any further loads to try and get more speed...this seemed like a good balance between speed, accuracy, and recoil.

    6.5x47 Lapua

I've got a solid Varget load worked up, 36.8gr with 140hybrids getting me about 2750fps out of a 26" barrel. Just got my hands on a couple containers of Vihtavuori N540, since it was looking like Varget might be hard to get from now on. Anybody have a load worked up with N540?

    First custom action which one?

I have a Kelbly Atlas Tactical and I couldn’t be happier with it. Kelbly’s customer service is impossible to beat, and they offer any number of options with “pre-fit” barrels you can swap out on your own. Bare nitrided finish is smooth and reliable, and their ejector/extractor setup is well...

    Cadex Chassis Ring Size Question

I’ve got a Cadex competition right now. You’ll essentially need to treat your rifle like it’s got a full flat-top rail and use whateve rings clear that surface. I use a Cadex 1.5” one-piece mount to get enough height for my S&B 5-25.

    6.5x47 Lapua

i just threw a load together for the 95gr VMax. 40.5gr Varget but I was experimenting with seating depth. 2.500”, 2.546”, and 2.605” OAL. All of them shot well, but 2.546” got the best numbers on the magnetospeed, while the 2.500” got the best looking group at 100m.

Looking for opinions on Kelby Atlas Tactical or Curtis Axiom

I have the Kelbly Atlas Tac and couldn’t be happier. Anytime I’ve emailed Kelbly they’ve responded within a couple hours. I can’t speak for the Curtis (I’m sure they’re a great company) but I’ve definitely not felt any buyers remorse on the Kelbly...
