Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Only 2 I can think of that I actually had money for but passed up at the time was a repro Remington m40 and a usmc return colt m45. That famas price is insane! How much did they go for when they were first imported?
I don’t. As far as I know D. Wilson and one other gunsmith someone mentioned earlier in the thread (name escapes me without digging back through the pages) are the only ones doing barrel conversions. A 6.5 barrel has been on my list of things to buy, but whenever they pop up for sale it’s not a...
Good luck with that. They pretty much stay out of stock at the normal vendors, and seem to sell really quickly when posted here or arfcom etc. I did get an email saying D. Wilson is now offering LMT barrel conversions for AR10 barrels though. So if you want a proof or something similar, that’s...
It’s an RC1, but I imagine they are similar. Gas isn’t too bad, I don’t shoot it super fast though. Haven’t had any malfunctions but it does really kick the brass out.
I actually had a 0 moa mount and swapped it out for a 20 moa because I wasn't getting the full travel out of the elevation turret. Also a 16” .308. This was with the 0 moa mount.
I wouldn’t say my brass is destroyed, but there are two small scratches from the barrel extension (I assume) like another person mentioned before in this thread, and a small dent from the brass deflector. Unsuppressed brass looks perfect.
I have an RC 1 that has been 100% with m118lr and m80 ball out of my 16” 7.62. Back pressure isn’t bad at all. I would imagine the RC 2 is very similar.
Looking to trade my 0 moa Geissele for a 20 moa Badger c1 or 20 moa Geissele. Not sure if the normal (not mk5 specific) Geissele has enough space between the rings though.
