    Tactical shooting mats.

Midway Deluxe shooting mat is a great economical choice that is packed with features. Mines going on a year and it's great for rocky terrain or wet conditions. Quality is on par with mats costing 2-3X as much.

    HS Precision stock "paint"?

Hydro Dipping works great on stocks... and the color/patterns are endless. Inexpensive too.

Needing advice for my new rifle

^ He meant 3-5K on the rifle only... since he's keeping the optic... although I like where your heads at with optics choices. NOTE: above post was deleted.

Lincoln Lawyer is much better... Mud was good, but not as good as people make it out to be.

    Jewell trigger fails to reset

From what I've heard... Jewell triggers are best for bench/competition shooting (light pull & delicate) while Timney are better for actual field use. Lots of videos and articles out there that explain it further.

    First Kestrel Purchase Recomendations

Wind meters are nice, but remember they only inform you what the wind is doing by you... not what's going on 700 or 1000 yards downrange. Learning to read wind would be more beneficial, expensive Kestral's are cool if you use a balistic App with gps atmospheric info. If you like all the...

Rifle Scopes Recommended scope under $1500

I'd say take a good look at Bushnell's Elite Tactical line... Bulletproof 1 year money back warranty... YouTube John McQuay's "torture test" consisting of submerging a scope in water for 2 days then throwing it in the freezer for another 1-2 days... worked perfect... then dropping it (multiple...

Build me a small pouch maintenance kit

I always pack my Borka torque tool/kit... has all the major drivers for most rifles actions, scope rings and anything else that could come loose. Light weight and torques everything down correctly without being too tight or too loose (can change accuracy). Rolls up nice... And has quite a...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Common Glock "problem"? Slide releases with loaded mag insertion

^ Agree... This happens with Beretta's and Sig's as well... not a cause for concern imo.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Opinions of the Beretta 96A1?

I have owned the Beretta 92G (very similar) since 2005 and think it's an outstanding handgun. Quick field stripping and very accurate. Some find the grip too "fat", but I like the grip I get with medium size hands. Sights are great as well. The "direct feed" that Beretta uses is fantastic I...

Michigan 1st annual Precision Rifle Steel Challenge UPDATE FULL ROSTER

Sounds like it's gonna be a great event, sadly I have to work that weekend... but at least the company I work for (RFI) is helping to sponsor it.
