Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM Had some wonderful weather up here today - got up to 50! Summer-like, even. Set up the crono and found a couple of decent loads for the 190's - the best was 73 grains RL22, WW brass, Fed 215. 5 Shot group was .718", Vel. 3033 fps, SD 12.2, ES...

Member Link Up western slope colorado

Re: western slope colorado I'm up in Leadville. Thinking about a trip down there to GJ to get out of the snow. Have a couple of buddies down there and heard about a 1000 yd range out there. Will be down in early April for a meeting and plan to bring a few rifles!

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM The long magazine in that Remington is really nice and allowed me to seat the bullets out to the lands and still feed throught the magazine. I was able to seat the bullets out to 3.615 and just touched the rifling at 3.610 in the chamber. Finally...

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM Does the moly make much difference? I have tried some moly bullets in the past and didn't like the cleanup time. Seemed to really make it tough to get the barrel clean. Interestingly, I work at the Climax Molybdenum Mine and could probably get a...

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM Rob01 - If I can get those kinds of velocities out of the 210, I will probably just shoot the 210 also! That is gettin' em up there!

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I will be trying a few loads with RL22 and Federal 215's with the 190's and 210's. Try and get them loaded up and to the range this weekend to see how they shoot. I'll post my results back here as...

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Re: 190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM 375 rgr, what kind of velocity are you getting? Don't have that powder, but might try it out. Oh, did find about a half can of 7828 here, too. From my reloading books, looks like I ought to try the RL22. Will probably start there with the 190's.

    190 and 210 Berger Loads for a .300 WM

Looking for any load info that you guys might have out there on the 190 or 210 grain Berger's in a .300 WM. Working them up for a 26" barreled, Remington XCR LRT. In my old .300, I was shooting bullets from 150-180 grains, but wanted to try some of these bullets with better BC's for long range...
