I've moved to a good pair of binos for spotting impacts on steel. I've found I can read mirage better and since mine have a LRF in them (Leica Geovids) I can cut down on extra weight. If I'm just shooting paper at 100, I just use my scope at a higher power. There is a place for spotters though.
I've been thinking of the MPA spigot, but I'll need to update my RRS clamp to the one that allows for both pic rail and swiss arca. Anyone know of a MPA spigot that is just swiss arca?
