Picked up an enhanced model this week in 6.5CM. Deciding on what optic I will finally put on it. Ordered an Atlas bipod. <a href="http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll190/fuzzyreticle/Ruger%20RPR/?action=view¤t=75CAF029-1436-415E-8AD4-26FA149E55B0_zpswcvvt1ca.jpg" target="_blank"><img...
If an HK was available for a good price this would be a fantastic choice. Of the options you mention HK all the way. I have had 3 SIG ARs and the M400 was the best one. Piston is not really needed IMHO unless you are running full auto or 10inch bbl or surpressed but hell if you can get one...
I have heard there is a lefty option but it is still a left and right handed world. Tough to shoot around barriers with a bullpup. I want one but the FS2000 would work better for me probably. It would look good next to my UZI however.
AR platform if made from quality maker like BCM, COLT, DD or others will run just as well as any AK. Both are mechanical devices and can break at any time. Either platform will serve you for years if you buy quality up front.
Larue is just about as good as it gets IMHO. I have and use a Rock River and it works but is bulky and not well suited for long eye relief scopes. I just got a Nikon one piece mount and it is very nice for less than a C-note. Trim and works for those 1-4 scopes very well.
