That shouldn't happen either. Matter of fact I used to use a dealer who made a point of not taking special ordered guns/ deliveries out of the box unless needed for bookwork. The main point aside, I've seen enough cans and guns dropped by customers in stores to know that I don't want mine...
I know a lot of dealers do it. Maybe I'm just a prick but after paying good money for a can and possibly transfer fee (the going rate in my area is $100) I would hope a dealer would have the courtesy to respect my property as mine and the business I give him as my own.
I have personally never liked the 1.5" standard. After shooting bolt guns with a nice comfortable cheek weld it feels akward to have the scope mounted so high when swapping to ARs. It may be a personal thing but after I switched to rings to lower the height I became more consistent
Well now Im a little confused. I emailed PT&G about this a few days ago and I just got a reply saying I need a .297 neck and .061 freebore if using an AICS/bdl mag. Im sure they know a bit more than I do but from what I gathered I needed more freebore and would still be OK with an AICS mag
Neck is .298 . I think its more suited to Lapua brass is why I was wondering. I want a "versatile" chamber and was wondering if that or a spec reamer with freebore cut to my liking would be a better choice
Re: Bammer's win SEC
I didn't think the play call was THAT bad, if the ball had went to its intended receiver instead of being tipped and caught it may have been a touchdown or incomplete with time left on the clock
