Morning Tony, If you're not too worried about the filling 'locking up nice' then perhaps look at the macro spheres that are used in the production of syntactic foams for ROv's etc. various sizes and extremely strong, very light. Or perhaps a different design approach, rather than the filling...

Re. Mr Tucker The ignore function is useful, think it's the first time I've used it, thanks for mentioning it. My only concern is someone with that attitude/mentality might own or have access to firearms. :(

IMHO the problem is comparing a 42mm objective to a 50 or a 56 which are 42% and 78% larger respectively, which is asking a bit much of any glass don't you think? Completly agree re. side by side comparison with your own eyes. Believe this is the method used by March UK, seems to work :) T

As opposed to what, S&B's 2 year warranty? Personally never purchased anything with the warranty as a prime consideration, if this was a consideration we'd all be driving Kia's :) Owned S&B's, NF, Zeiss etc. Have 3 Marches and never felt that March's were inferior or lacking and they are...

Frank, Could you take a photo of your rifle and Beast set up side on please? I would like to have a perspective of the height of the scope in proportion to the depth of the rifle, it looks 'tall'? thanks Terry

Gents, Do not think there is 'one' cleaning method, fluid, brush whatever that is 'it', if you are psychologically happy with your routine and the rifles shooting as you want it be happy :) Unless you are using a bore scope you have absolutly no idea how your method is working or how clean...

The floating 'dot' is .05 mil = covers less than 2" at 1000yards, not sure what your shooting but that's good enough for me? :) Terry

Have a look for a used 4" Colt Diamondback, looks like a mini Python, nice sights. There is a 6" version also. My first handgun many years ago. Terry
