    14.5 is my favorite, I do like them down to 10.5, but I don't care for anything shorter than that. I'm actually the opposite, I don't really see the appeal to anything over 16". I'd rather step up in cartridge than go long and heavy.

    I would not buy a LPVO for bench shooting. I have a bunch and I never shoot them from a bench. You'll be much more comfortable with a 3-15/4-16.

    Agreed! I don't think less of people who enjoy other forms of shooting, or think they are "wrong", I just wanted illustrate that for other people, a light weight, mid magnification scope with red dot fills a role that other archetypes can't fulfill.

    The 4x acog has a fov of 36 feet at 100 yards which is more than most scopes at 4x. I don't think this is a problem with prisms, I'm sure ilya will see this thread and chime in with some facts.

    I prefer the SAI reticle to the fc-dmx. It's easier to use the SAI on 1x without illumination. I do like the floating dot in the fc-dmx more than the cross hair, but I prefer the rapid aiming feature to the horseshoe, overall, I think the SAI has a better reticle for a LPVO...
