Which stick to use to learn long range shooting? opinion greatly appreciated

use the 270, reload, and use 140gr accubond/ballistic tip - decent bullet, you can use it to get started, cheap, and serves as a hunting rifle at the very same time

Range Report Applied Ballistics Mobile App

well. another point is that android covers 81% of the smartphone userbase. 12% is iphone. and then some others ... so out of 10 persons, if you focus on android, you'll please 8, rather than a single one from apple. thus, you can get a factor of 8 more profit from focusing on android than...

Is a $600 pair of binos worth it?

i've the ddoptics 8x50. they cost about 600 ... for me, way better than the 8x56 zeiss dialyt that i'd have access to. and outperforms some of the zeiss/swaro group that i've seen

    Recommend a 1-3 day pack

please provide some details on what you intend to use the 'three-day' pack for. if it's just travelling, you need alot less space, than say ... 3 day hike when you intend to carry tent, supplies, clothes, ... is it hunting? or shooting only? because for the later tasks, the x3/x4 would be way...

    Thoughts on new Gunslinger II

as you describe, the pack is nice. from my personal experience with hunting trips in the alps, up to about 3000m = 10k feet, the pack is just a bit too small in volume. i think eberlestock is calculating the volume of the pack including the volume of the rifle sleeve. this notable changes the...

Hunting & Fishing Do I really need a .300 Win Mag or will .30-06 be fine?

Is a $600 pair of binos worth it?

i've ddoptics 8.5x50 @ around 700 euro. we have zeiss and swaro in house (8x40 swaro and 8x56 zeiss) and I can't see a difference. While swaro for sure has a good service history, for the difference in price (factor of 3) I can buy a new pair of binos every 10 years and still be better of. some...
