    I can’t stand the Vortex offerings - especially the 1-10x…major fisheye parallax to my eyes. Not even close to what I would consider “good”, yet folks rave about them. Would try out different optics so I could make an informed decision if I were you. Good luck

    300 PRC update

    Update. Shot my first buck with 300 PRC 212gr ELD-X at 2850 FPS 160yds broadside shot Result was devastating double lung pass through with a giant exit wound approximately 3.00” wide. Also loaded up some 200gr Partitions over 79.0gr MagPro. Will try them next. This thing hits hard.

    Rpr or Bergara lrp 2.0

    Bergara in 300 PRC would be my choice between those two. The Ruger is a boat anchor but shoots good. The LRP is lighter. If you want more weight on the Bergara, you could add some mlok chassis weights. Definitely would put a tuner and brake on whichever you get and a really GOOD SCOPE...

    I prefer to shoot whitetail with my accurate and faithful .257 Wby Magnum 100gr-110gr at a lightening strike speed of 3,300 FPS. Don’t see a need for another creed in the stall, but I like the quarter bore bullet performance. Cheers
