    NO. Compare a 50bmg to any Cheytac and it is less expensive. The OP wants a one mile gun. Economics enters the equation in almost any category these days.

    My love goes to the 50 BMG. Custom match chamber and 32" barrel. Great accuracy. Reasonable reloading costs. Lots of surplus ammo and powder. Just bought 48 pounds of wc860 for $300.00. Best Ballistic coefficient of any projectile is in the 50 bmg category. Just my $0.02 :D

    It dosent surprise me that Chris resolved the issue. He is gtg and great to deal with. Looks like this was a fubar from the beginning. I'm sure SportOptics will watch this type of thing more closely in the future.

    FLORIDA hazmat 50bmg API

    I was just told by Pats Reloading that they can not ship 50 BMG API to FLorida. They can ship to Georgia or other states, but not Fla. ?? Anyone have any idea why? Pats dosent even know, other than they cant do it. Is it UPS ?
