Re: 338 Lapua. okay, 300gr bullet looks good ! but personally I use 250gr bullets in my SAKO and I think to stay devoted to them until I can get 275gr or 280gr bullets from Berger or Sierra. I don't understand why Sierra, Berger, Hornady don't produce a 338 HPBT in this weight range it...- TRSharpshooter

Go in the field with snow, rain, low low temperature and bring back your gun directly in your home or dry it with a towel or close it wet in your gun case, when you arrive to your truck. Maybe you'll have some problem !!!! but it will be true for every stock soon or late... some are more resistant than other.
