Hi Glassaholic, I appreciate the commentary and good point on the thicker parts of the reticle. That said, there is a big gap between the “decently bright” existing style ZCO illumination and something that is actually bright like the ATACR 1-8, Schmidt flash dot or even the dot on the Vortex...
Thanks for the info. Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but I will reserve judgment until I have one in hand…hopefully before too long! Really appreciate it, y’all have a good one. -TSean
@CSTactical, what is the illumination situation on these (if that info has been lined out…I did not see it specifically noted)? Are we talking full power/daylight bright like an ATACR 1-8…or more in line with what currently exists on the other ZCO scopes like the 4-20 (decently bright, but...
Looks pretty good, thanks for the reticle sheets gamewarden! Now if they can make a FFP version of the 3-18 Meta and slap this reticle in there too (scaled appropriately and keeping the flash dot)…Schmidt would really be cooking on new offerings. Would be another top shelf mid-weight/mid-power...
Hi hairy_pineapple588, Good choice on the Zeus QC and the Vision chassis bud! You are right to be concerned about accessing the QC screws. Don’t let that scare you off from the Pro though if you prefer that setup. I am doing the same thing and all it took was to call/talk to the GCP gang...
Gotcha, thank you very much for confirming. Great to know on it being a better base (now and for the future) on the engine and integration side. Nice update overall for sure!
Thank you for posting some info on this! I am still a little unclear though. When comparing the features to the Geovid Pro 10x42 for example, it looks like the only difference is the full AB Elite suite is pre-installed (vs. a paid upgrade on the Pro’s) and the inclusion of the “shot...
Thank you for the rundown, all sounds good/reasonable. That K-RR is going to be very cool on your .375 H&H…nice moves. Awesome to have these bore size options for that little application too! Thanks again, have a good one! -TSean
Hey kurtispalu! Thank you for the notes on that! That sounds about like I was thinking from looking at the numbers, but very nice to hear some live experience. Very stoked to get some of these smaller .338 setups. Again, much appreciated on the notes and super cool you shot that...
New setups look great, good work TBAC! @Zak Smith, For application expectations, what would you say the crossover is for something like a “light” 22 inch barrel/11lb scoped .338 Norma hunting setup. What I mean is will the Magnus-S RR .338 for example still give me pretty good suppression and...
Hi ocabj, Hope you are doing well! In short, I have the same style rubber feet shown on Nedved, and those are the best option imo if you want/need rubber feet on a triple pull. Those actually do replace the claw foot (it does not fit over the claw) and are a very tight slip fit over the leg...
Hi Long Range 338, Husky driver is correct on what that little window shows. For a more detailed explanation: You can't see it in the picture, but there is a three position slide lock at the base of the elevation turret (also on the windage turret although that one is 2 position...
Hey Huskydriver, They have good pics on the EuroOptic site (go to Schmidt and Bender —> PM2 —> 5-25x56 —> 5-25 MTC LT Black. Then it’s at the bottom, the one with the MSR2 reticle). A couple pics of mine attached. (assuming the attachments work). Just a great turret size as well. Hope...
