    Savage 93r17 Bolt Handle Threads?

    Are savage rimfire handles threaded? Thought I saw everyone grinding them down and threading to replace knob. I just learned to deal with my 93.

    Ruger 10/22: Tweak or New Barrel?

    Could check for problems at the v block and also play around with torque on the action screw. When I rebarreled mine it took some tweaking but once I got it right I didn't have to use pressure pads.

    To reload or to go rimfire, that's the question

    BOTH! Rimfires are great. Especially simulating longer range shots at lesser distances (I'm limited to 150 yards) cheap to build and shoot. Fun to tune and shoot and easy to teach anyone how to use. Bottom line every one should own one. Reloading is the other side of the spectrum. Rewarding...
