Well I have plenty to use up so I'll start low with ELD's and work up. When I did the load work up with RDF's I started low and loaded in .5gr increments to 44.0, not expecting to get there but it's not showing pressure at all. I'm not seeing a node around 44 and I'm not willing to push it...
Velocity wise the RDF is great. The ELD I haven't been able to get out of 2700's so if that doesn't improve, I won't be using it. I've got 200 of them so I hope this changes.
Gohring65 - ok, so what do you suggest? Fire form the new brass so it's consistent in size, and/or is the difference in ELD that would cause the pressure spike? I can load the ELD in the, now fired and prepped brass, and see if that fixes the issue. If that's the case I don't understand having...
I'm hoping that someone can help diagnose why I'm getting great velocity, zero pressure sign with RL16 + 140gr Nosler RDF's, and excessive pressure signs with the Hornady ELD. Here's where I'm at with my reloading and I'll try to be comprehensive. Nosler RDF: Twice fired Hornady brass...
There was a team match at Outback Precision Rifle Club a few months back that was a lot of fun. I assume that's what this Team Challenge is similar to. Had a two man team, one guy on a gas gun for short to medium range targets and the bolt gunner for medium to long rage. Both had a pistol...
Is that the end? I've read 4 pages of this novel, now I'm eager to see what, if anything has happened since. Not to make light of the situation by any means. I hope every who has given this guy money, and or parts, gets 100% back plus interest.
Re: Need Advice on new Caliber Hey thanks guys, thats awesome information. I appreciate it and will read through and so some more research on the 6's and 7-08. As far as Tac-Pro, it's somewhat close and I have been out there but for me, they are too high in their cost. The yearly isn't bad...
Re: What do I need to know about suppressors ? Not to jump in a take over his thread post, but maybe add a question. Which is better QD or thread on, he asked for accuracy distinction, I'm adding for attachment reliability and sound suppression. Thanks
Re: Need Advice on new Caliber OH absolutely. My 7mm was a barreled action I bought off someone here and it's a #7 contour, full bull barrel. Total weight is almost 18lbs... I've gotten use to carrying around the deer woods just fine but starting with a new build, I'm going to try to...
Re: Need Advice on new Caliber Thanks for all the input and i'll try to answer. Yes, I do handload and plan on loading the new caliber. I am selling all my reloading dies and equipment related to the 7MM REM along with the rifle so whoever wants it is ready to go with everything they...
Re: Lone Survivor Movie!! By far one of the best, descriptive, military books I've read. I couldn't put it down. I read it a couple years ago but since a movie is coming out, I'll have to reread it to refresh the story before it comes out. Any time frame for the movie debut?

Re: Expendables II Chuck Norris was the best part of the whole movie. I'm pissed I wasted so much money seeing this in theater though. Definitely a redbox DVD. Save your money, buy a box of ammo instead.
Re: No Easy Day (book) Picked it up Friday after work and read it through. Excellent book, and I can say there wasn't anything in the book that was a surprise or stuff I didn't previously know. I agree with one of the previous comments, "NDA is a contract between two parties in effect...
