    Accurizing Ruger 77

    What can be done to an old model 77 to make it a bit more accurate, like to be able to get about 1" groups at 100yds. So far it has a Timney trigger and a composite stock.

    Anybody load the above round? Wife just got a new target pistol, info for loads seem to be a bit skimpy, at least what's in my manuals. Would welcome any suggestion for a load. Seems that the most common bullet weight is 98gr.

    If you are trying to use the comparator to determine overall lenght, do you have to have a factory cartridge of the same grain to find your oa length? Since the bullets have a lead tip which can get deformed from repeated measuring where can I get an overall length from, since the comparator...
